Does anybody know if the only difference between a Coupe seat and a roaster seat is the Seat back? In other words are the seat bottoms(Frames) the same?

The way I read the Moss catalog, which does talk about the differences, I'd say the bases are the same. Call Moss tech support if you are still in doubt.

Jayhawk: I believe the bottoms are the same. I'd have to pull one of each and examine them, but I don't see why there would be a difference. The seat backs seem to be the only difference I could see on the new ones that just came into stock.  The convertible seat backs mimic the rear cowl line and taper towards the outside, the coupe ones are flat across the top. (not to be confused with the very similar looking early MGB seats.)

Thanks for looking, Kevin. I am curious. That way I don't have to source just coupe seats as the "backs" are fine, the bottoms are all rusted out. Don't suppose that Moss would sell just the bottoms?????
