    Propane

Have anyone here ever heard of a propane conversion on SU carbs?  This is more of a curiosity, not an aactual project.(yet)

    Re: Propane

I did see a webpage where they'd converted their MGB to propane.  I don't know what they were using for carbs.

The whole thing was in Dutch, so I couldn't understand a word, but the pictures were nice.

I think I found it on the MG ring.  If I can relocate it, I'll re-post.

    Norman,

I should think that the jetting arrangement on an SU would make it far less than suitable for a propane conversion, and I'm sure there are units out there much better for the purpose. I won't say the SU is impossible, because I've seen people do remarkable and strange things to prove a point, but it's not the direction in which I'd head if I wanted a gaseous MGB.
