I am replacing the ZS carb on my 79 B with a set of SU's from a 73 GT. Question on the exhaust manifold. Are most years interchangable or do I need to use the one from the 73? I have several older ones (sixties) and was curious if they would be compatible.

I believe I have answered my own question this evening. Put the calipers to the flanges on the 73 intake manifold where it bolts up, .445, the exhaust manifold I was hoping to use is .582 where it bolts up to the head. A little too uneven to tighten up nicely I suppose. I was trying to avoid having to use the exhaust manifold from the 73 as I had a different carb setup to put on the car. Time to shop for another exhaust manifold.
