Tonneau on MGA fitted with aero-screens

    Hello:

I just purchased a 1960 MGA 1600 fitted with aero-screens. I was wondering if I can fit a tonneau cover or wheter it will blow off during driving due to lack of windshield. If so I would like assistance on which fittings to get and how to install. I am not a mechanic so help would be greatly appreciated.

You may have trouble with the front coming loose because of the fastener design. If you do you might convert these fasteners to either the turn button type as used at the side above the b pillar or the Tenax type as used on Midgets and MGBs. Both types give better retention than the lift the dot fasteners, especially when under any load.

    WOW!

How fast were you planning on going? By the way, isn't this why duct tape was invented?!

    Enjoy...
