    66 Cooper MK II, A series 1275

I "inherited" a 1966 1275 Cooper S.  I was going to rebuild the SU's and ordered parts for what should have been on it.  I learned that the carbs on there now are AUC 6020s, presumably off of an MGA 1500.  Anyone have an idea as to why those carbs would be on a 1275 Cooper S?

H4 (same as MGA) were fitted to works coopers as an upgrade, as standard it would have been fitted with HS2's so the H4 setup it the better one to have! Main reason was the fuel lines use a banjo type fitting and the float bowls had a brass floats and not plastic.

    Hope this helps
