    SU needles

I have a set of twin 1.25 SU carbs that I want to fit to a 1380cc Mini. I am trying to get the needls out, but can't budge them. Any suggestions.

    Re: SU needles

Fixed type or biased? bias type are some times hard to remover as the ferrel gets damaged by the securing screw! if it's fixed type needles maybe a little pen oil ?

I fitted twin 1.25" to a 1275 cooper s and had to open them up pretty much all the way... Have you thought about 1.5" or maybe a twin weber? The initial outlay is a fair bit but you'll notice the difference...
