Over 20 years ago I purchased a carb conversion kit from England and lost all paperwork/directios in the ensuing years. The kit includes HS type carbs, manual choke cable, stainless heat shield, manifolds and gaskets, air cleaners and down pipe. As best I can tell the carbs are Hitachi's manufactured under license from SU. Repeated Internet searches have been futile. I got rid of the rubber bumper without ever performing the conversion. It has been gathering dust (never used). I haven't offered it for sale due to my lack of certainty and no experience with them. Has anyone performed a conversion with such a kit or have knowledge of someone who did? Since these carbs are (apparently) not some knockoffs, they should be pretty good.
