    Re: Need Help!

I have a 66 Cooper S, MK II, 1275.  I inherited the car and have no history on it.  My father owned it as a show car, purchased from another party "as is".  The seats are out of something else and tilt but do not lock down.  Did the original seats in a 66 lock down?

    Re: Need Help!

You may find that this causes a problem with the MOT as the tester may not be aware of this. If the tester has a problem with this you will need to take it to a mini friendly garage. Been there done that.....

    Re: Need Help!

early cars had no anchor on the floor so would tip fowards! later car have a bar bolted to the floor and a catch on the seat, however because the early car wasn't fitted with it from the factory it wouldn't fail an MOT!
