  • Bleeding brakes, rear MGB, 1973

    Attempting to bleed the brakes I find the bleed valve is on the bottom of the cylinder. This leaves an air chamber above the valve. Anyone have any comments? Have the wrong cylinders been installed sometime? ??

  • 69 / 73 (?) Engine ID

    I am contemplating an engine rebuild for my 1973 MGB (Noth American Spec). The engine serial number is "18GH - RWE - H38831". According to my limited research the motor ssems to be a 1969 (18GH) high compression unit (H) which originally came with O/D (RWE). I have owned the car (non O/D) since 1983 so somewhere ...

  • 73 MGB Electrical question

    My 73' MGB's headlights won't switch to high beams. Also when you turn on the lights in the parking position the tail lights and dash lights go out.  I started once looking at the wiring at he switch and from the fuse box forward.
