Moss Motors, Ltd

I am in the process of recovering my dashboard on my 1960 Sprite.  I am looking for help on how to remove the washer pump from the dash.  The nut is recessed into the dash by about an inch.  It is too narrow for a socket and needle nose don't get enough grip.  Any Ideas????     Also, is anyone who has done this ...
