Avon Turbospeed 6.00H16 93H Tire

Finding a speed rated bias ply tire is a challenge, but we have the solution with this Avon Turbospeed high speed crossply tire. It features 600-16 sizing, perfect for Aston Martin DB2 and DB4, BMW 507, Bristol 404, 406, 407, 408 and 409, as well as Jaguar, Ferrari and Maserati fitments. The tire features an H speed rating, providing safe service up to 130 miles per hour. The classic tread pattern and smooth black sidewall are the right choice for any 1950's or early 1960's sports car. This is a tubeless tire, but your application, especially those with wire wheels may require a tube and/or rim strip.

Bias Ply Construction

Bias ply tire construction is a method that was used from the 1900's through the 1970's on passenger cars and light trucks. Bias ply tires feature ply cords that run at a 45 degree angle to the bead, and overlap in a crisscross pattern, depending on how many ply layers are used. This creates a strong tire, but bias ply tires have a tendency to follow breaks or ruts in the pavement.   • Moss Motors, Ltd. will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part that fails in service within the warranty period. This warranty does not cover labor, failure of related components, normal wear of brake or clutch components or failure resulting from alteration, misuse, accidental damage, faulty installation, or faulty repair.
  • Warranty requests should be submitted to our sales department and must be supported by the original Moss Motors purchase invoice and documentation of the failure.
