Genuine Wide Whitewall Tire

Wide whitewall tires feature a continuous band of white rubber that extends all the way to the bead, unlike narrow whitewalls that leave a smaller visible section. The white rubber is integrated during the tire's initial construction and permanently bonded through vulcanization, resulting in a durable, high-quality finish. This design was especially popular into the early 1960s before narrower whitewall styles became more common.

Bias Ply Construction

Bias ply tire construction was widely used from the early 1900s through the 1970s on passenger cars and light trucks. The ply cords are arranged at a 45-degree angle to the bead and overlap in a crisscross pattern, creating a strong and durable structure.
