Seat Kit, Red vinyl, TR6 1970-72
Reupholstery Seat Kits Require No Sewing - Yes ! You Can Do it Yourself !
Reupholstery Seat Kits are made from the finest upholstery vinyl available with a simple and easy-to-install design that is patterned and stitched similar to the original. One kit completes both seats. Seat foams are sold separately.
Tools required:
- Flathead and phillips screwdrivers, rubber mallet, scissors or utility knife and a pencil.
- Remove the seats from the car and remove all clips and hardware.
- Using a utility knife or scissors, remove your old seat covers.
- Slide new seat covers over the seat foams. Make sure all of the wrinkles are pulled out. Replace the newly covered seats
TR6 models from CC75000 to CC85737 had fixed headrests built into the seat. Tonneau covers to go with these seats have "pouches" to accommodate the headrests. All vinyl covers have a "stag" grain, and vinyl and leather covers are piped with their own color. This seat has two handles at the side: one for adjusting the angle of the seat-back, and the other to allow the seat to fold forward to allow access to the back "seats". Sets cover both seats.
