Our Premium Pushrods are ideal for Triumph TR250 and TR6 engines with cylinder heads milled 2mm or more. If your engine has ever been rebuilt, there is a very good chance that the cylinder head has been modified. These pushrods are .120" shorter than stock, which is necessary to obtain correct rocker geometry. And, they should be used with upgrades such as: higher lift cam, stiffer valve springs, and higher ratio rockers. We love these Premium Pushrods because, quite frankly, they've been over-engineered in order to perform in racing engines. They carry a reputation for precision and durability that lesser brands will not claim. Manufactured here in the states, the tubing is made from 4130 Chrome-Moly steel, and the cup and ball ends are made from 86L20 steel and are case hardened. These pushrods have been thoroughly tested. You can install them with confidence and not look back. Note: Check cylinder head to push rod clearance with rods installed. This pushrod is thicker than stock and therefore closer to the cylinder head casting. Head may need to be trimmed with a dremel or file for the pushrod to clear the casting.
