Finally! There is a good reproduction of the Lucas Master Battery Switch fitted to all big Healeys. This is the "short-neck" switch, and should not be confused with the "one size fits all" long-neck switch that is all that has been available since about 1980. Lucas made a variety of battery cutoff switches for a wide range of applications. When they "rationalized" the range to a single part number, the version fitted to the big Healey disappeared. The "long neck" battery switch became so common it was assumed by some to be "original". When we ran into quality problems with the switches we could buy, we decided we would have to make our own. We took the opportunity to bring back the "short neck" Austin Healey switch at the same time we had the "long neck" version of the switch made. The "short neck" switch can be fit to any vehicle.

The Longest in the Business

  • All Classic British products are warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of invoice.
  • All superchargers, supercharger components, and supercharger hardware are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from date of invoice.
  • Moss Motors, Ltd. will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part that fails in service within the warranty period. This warranty does not cover labor, failure of related components, normal wear of brake or clutch components or failure resulting from alteration, misuse, accidental damage, faulty installation, or faulty repair.
  • Warranty requests should be submitted to our sales department and must be supported by the original Moss Motors purchase invoice and documentation of the failure.
