Fits XJ-8 and XJ-R 1st Gen (X308) 1998-2003, XJ-8 and XJ-R 2nd Gen (X350) 2003-2007, S-Type (X200) 1999-2008, XK8 and XKR Series I (X100) 1996-2006.  Jaguar's troubles with V-8 timing chain tensioners are well documented. This kit provides everything required to update to the latest-specification metal tensioners. We believe this is the most complete kit available. This kit contains new-style tensioners and everything else required to update to the latest specification. Kit includes upper and lower tensioners, upper and lower timing chains, timing chain guides, crankshaft seal, timing cover seals, cam cover gaskets, spark plug seals and O-rings. Some competitive kits are not as complete. This kit includes all parts from 01-1502 but contains the later-type cam cover gaskets and spark plug seals. The later spark plug seals differ in that the plug boss seals and the seals between the spark plugs are all separate pieces. Click on the document tab to see where to find your car's engine number.   • All Classic British products are warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of invoice.
  • All superchargers, supercharger components, and supercharger hardware are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from date of invoice.
  • Moss Motors, Ltd. will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part that fails in service within the warranty period. This warranty does not cover labor, failure of related components, normal wear of brake or clutch components or failure resulting from alteration, misuse, accidental damage, faulty installation, or faulty repair.
  • Warranty requests should be submitted to our sales department and must be supported by the original Moss Motors purchase invoice and documentation of the failure.
