UPS Holiday Closure
January 14, 2026
We will be open for business on Martin Luther King Jr. Day 1/19/26. However, UPS and USPS will be closed and will not be picking up orders. This will affect all shipments, including Air Services, so please expect a slight delay. Shipments will resume on 1/20/2026. This includes orders placed January 16th 5pm EST through January 19th.
New Year's Holiday Closures and Delays
December 30, 2025
There are a number of factors affecting shipments during this season. Please know we appreciate your order and want to support your project! However, in observation of the New Year some interuptions may be expected.
USPS Shipments will be used at our discretion.
Final order processing for UPS Shipments
Standard shipment - 12/30 at 5pm EST
Air shipments - 12/30 at 3pm EST
Moss Motors and Moss Miata: We will be closed New Year's Day, and will reopen at 8am EST on 1/2/26. Orders will be accepted on the website around the clock, but will not begin processing until Friday 1/2/2026.
UPS Operations: UPS will not be doing standard pickups on 12/31, which means the last day for Air Shipment is 12/30/2025. For detail information you can review the New Year's UPS schedule here.
Moss Inventory Count
December 9, 2025
As a part of our regular business operations, we will be doing a full inventory count, which affects our ability to ship orders out. Orders placed after 3pm EST on Thursday 12/18 will not ship until the following Monday, 12/22

Canada Post Workers on Strike

Canada Post has stated that a national strike has begun. We recommend our Canadian customers choose UPS for your shipping method.

SNG | Moss | Rimmer Announce Paul Morrison as Global CFO

SNG | Moss | Rimmer, global specialty suppliers of restoration and replacement parts primarily for classic British vehicles, announced the appointment of Paul Morrison as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. National Day of Observance for 39th President Jimmy Carter
January 9, 2025
USPS Services are being suspended for today. All USPS orders will be held until tomorrow, January 10, 2025.
UPS operations will continue as normal.
From USPS:
"Out of respect for the 39th President of the United States and to honor his vast contributions to our country during his lifetime, and consistent with the Presidential Proclamation, the United States Postal Service will suspend regular mail deliveries, retail services and administrative office activity on January 9, 2025."

Inventory Count and Order Delays
December 13, 2024
We are once again conducting an inventory count in all Moss warehouses. This process will temporarily impact our order completion and shipping services.
Order Delays
Due to this inventory count, orders placed after 2:00 PM your local time on Thursday, December 19th, will not begin processing until Monday, December 23rd.
Returns
Product Returns requested after December 17th will be held until the following week, and may be delayed for up to two weeks.
Air Shipments
We strongly advise against selecting any expedited Air delivery for orders placed between December 19th and December 22nd. These orders will not ship until December 23rd at the earliest and will likely also be impacted by closures on the 24th and 25th.
Order modifications and cancellations
If you make a purchase through Mossmotors.com or Mossmiata.com between these dates, please be aware that we will have limited ability to modify or cancel orders. This is due to an anticipated backlog of orders that must be expedited to prevent further delays for you, our valued customers.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate your patience and understanding. In the meantime, please shop online and we will get your orders shipped as soon as we can.
Canada Post Workers Strike

USPS has halted Canadian shipments. We recommend Canada customers choose UPS for your shipping method.

"Effective Nov. 29, 2024, the United States Postal Service will temporarily suspend international mail acceptance to Canada due to the foreign postal operator indicating that they are unable to process or deliver international mail or services as a result of the ongoing national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers."

Shipments to Canada may be delayed when using standard shipping. Upgrade your shipping to UPS Ground to ensure delivery, though delays may still be present. This may affect both past, current, and future orders.

Thanksgiving Holiday Closure

In observance of the holiday, in order for our staff to spend time with their loved ones and take some time off, we will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday. Our hours are as follows:

- Thursday 11/28 – Friday 11/29; Closed
- Sat & Sun; Closed

Mr. Smart brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in the automotive aftermarket and original equipment sectors. Most recently, he served as Vice President of ZF Aftermarket for North America, where he managed growth strategies across key business lines, including the independent aftermarket and original equipment services.
The appointment comes at a key time for the companies, which combined through a merger earlier this year.
