Rear Oil Seal Conversion Kit

With the guidance of Lawrie Alexander (Moss Technical Services and long-time T-Series specialist), we have made improvements to the original Al Moss designed rear oil seal kit which replaces the antiquated and inefficient threaded slinger at the rear of the engine, a source of constant and consistent oil leaks. Contrary to other conversions which are presently being sold by others, and which require extensive and irreversible modifications, this kit is easily installed when the instructions are followed exactly, and requires the drilling of only one small hole.
Al worked with Chicago Rawhide (the seal manufacturer) to develop a new and improved seal made of FKM (fluoro-rubber), rated to 12,000 RPM at 600 degrees F. These new seals also have a redesigned lip to ensure better contact with the crankshaft surface.

The Longest in the Business
- All Classic British products are warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of invoice.
- All superchargers, supercharger components, and supercharger hardware are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from date of invoice.
- Moss Motors, Ltd. will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part that fails in service within the warranty period. This warranty does not cover labor, failure of related components, normal wear of brake or clutch components or failure resulting from alteration, misuse, accidental damage, faulty installation, or faulty repair.
- Warranty requests should be submitted to our sales department and must be supported by the original Moss Motors purchase invoice and documentation of the failure.
