Here is the answer to leaky rear oil seals! Because it is difficult to gauge the wear on older scroll type crankshaft seals, it is important that only a new seal assembly be used when rebuilding or restoring an engine. This well-engineered conversion uses a modern lip type seal in place of the original two piece, leak-prone aluminum seal. No machining is required which makes for a straightforward installation. Get the rear main crank seal alignment tool to fit this seal kit. Instructions included.
Note:
- The Viton replacement seal, 837-165, is available as an additional upgrade. Viton is a long last seal and an upgrade over the standard included with the kit.
- Get the proper alignment tool for installation. Part #386-891.

- All superchargers, supercharger components, and supercharger hardware are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from date of invoice.
- Moss Motors, Ltd. will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part that fails in service within the warranty period. This warranty does not cover labor, failure of related components, normal wear of brake or clutch components or failure resulting from alteration, misuse, accidental damage, faulty installation, or faulty repair.
- Warranty requests should be submitted to our sales department and must be supported by the original Moss Motors purchase invoice and documentation of the failure.
