Not only does an aluminum alloy cylinder head weigh substantially less than stock, but the material rejects heat better than iron as well. This allows a slightly higher compression ratio, and eliminates hot spots, which can lead to annoying run on after you turn off the key. Our alloy heads come complete with valves and guides, ready to install. If you live in a hot climate, or want to build a killer supercharger motor, or just want your engine to run a tad cooler and take some weight off the front of the car, this is your choice. As any racer will tell you, "adding lightness" is a virtue. Heads are machined to stock iron head dimensions, so other than choosing a proper coolant, there are no modifications necessary for installation. While they will fit all TR2-4A engine blocks, the TR2 and early TR3 "low port" intake manifolds will not fit these heads. Note: Make sure your antifreeze/coolant choice is compatible with all iron and aluminum engine components.

  • All Classic British products are warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of invoice.
  • All superchargers, supercharger components, and supercharger hardware are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from date of invoice.
  • Moss Motors, Ltd. will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part that fails in service within the warranty period. This warranty does not cover labor, failure of related components, normal wear of brake or clutch components or failure resulting from alteration, misuse, accidental damage, faulty installation, or faulty repair.
  • Warranty requests should be submitted to our sales department and must be supported by the original Moss Motors purchase invoice and documentation of the failure.
