MG TCs were built to be enjoyed. Unfortunately, getting around in modern traffic can be a less than enjoyable experience with the high speeds and impatient drivers. The Moss Motors 5-speed conversion will increase your enjoyment by reducing engine revs and noise at highway speeds and eliminating the worry of an unsynchronized first gear at stoplights and in stop and go traffic.
Installation of this kit is 100% reversible, requiring no drilling, cutting or welding. Each kit is complete and includes: Rebuilt Ford T9 Gearbox, Cast Alloy Bell Housing, Spigot Bushing, Rear Gearbox Mounts, Chrome Gear Lever Assembly, Clutch Disc, Speedometer Cable, Driveshaft, all required Bolts & Fasteners, and Detailed Instructions.
Before ordering, we need to know your car's engine to differential distance to ensure the correct driveshaft length. Your speedometer will need to be calibrated to be accurate.

- All Classic British products are warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of invoice.
- All superchargers, supercharger components, and supercharger hardware are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from date of invoice.
- Moss Motors, Ltd. will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part that fails in service within the warranty period. This warranty does not cover labor, failure of related components, normal wear of brake or clutch components or failure resulting from alteration, misuse, accidental damage, faulty installation, or faulty repair.
- Warranty requests should be submitted to our sales department and must be supported by the original Moss Motors purchase invoice and documentation of the failure.
